Stefan, thank you. Maine, which I haven't visited since 1972, was beautiful. The fall colors hadn't really begun but the clean air and clear blue sky were wonderful.
Oh my goodness, and there you were, a mere hundred miles away, hanging out with a few friends and acquaintances, including a couple of the lecturers...
An interior design history enthusiast and in my own way an erstwhile chronicler of those I call the Lost Generation - those men, some of them gay and many of whom died of AIDS in the 1980s and 1990s, and who are to a great degree forgotten.
I'm sure Maine is gorgeous this time of year -enjoy!

ReplyDeleteI'll be back – I had not forgotten how beautiful Maine is but somehow the memories had faded and this time I fell in love all over again!
