A bit off topic. After the Blashfield mural is re-lit, I the restorers plan to talk about it, a good time to visit. The scaffold looked solid and steady from the ground and these little old ladies were already up there. I think my reverie overcame my fear, uncanny experience for me. I don't get to do this.
An interior design history enthusiast and in my own way an erstwhile chronicler of those I call the Lost Generation - those men, some of them gay and many of whom died of AIDS in the 1980s and 1990s, and who are to a great degree forgotten.

ReplyDeleteTerry, as I said in my comment, you are a braver man than I. However steady a scaffold looks I don't go up it!
