She was not pleased I was so near to her – hissed at me like crazy. One of many ducks that live on the lake behind my building (it's called the Duck Pond – go figure) and they are so tame the waddle across the roads, as do the geese, and we all stop our cars and wait for them to cross. As you can imagine the lake is a wonderful thing to have in the neighborhood.
